Principal’s Monday Morning Message ~ April 6

Good morning! This is the April 6th Monday morning message from Ms. Kasner and Ms. Page.

We hope many of you were able to take advantage of Spring Break a little, take a step back from school and work to enjoy some relaxation. Even though we are continuing Distance Learning for the next few weeks, we are excited to pick up our routine again and continue our learning together. Ms. Kasner and Ms. Page will send weekly announcements every Monday morning both via voicemail and email, so please see the following updates:

For FSK Students/Parents ~ if you are in need of a device, please let your teacher know immediately. This will be our last date to lend out Chromebooks to FSK students on Wednesday April 8th, 2020.  Below is the schedule for each grade students to pick up the Chromebook, so please let your teacher know if you are in need of borrowing one.

  • 9 – 10am ~ K and 1st grade FSK students
  • 10 – 11am ~ 2nd and 3rd grade FSK students
  • 11am – 12pm ~ 4th and 5th grade FSK Students

Beginning Monday, April 13th, we will begin Phase 3 of school closure. This means that your teacher will be in regular communication with your family about how to continue Distance Learning through this time. Teachers will provide more school work relative to your child’s age and grade, instructional videos, as well as support for how you may continue to support your child at home.

Many of you have purchased the FSK Yearbook, here is the info for distribution. Student’s yearbook will be shipped directly to your home! Please see the detailed info below.

  1. Already Ordered the Yearbook: Please follow these instructions on how to update your order to include your address (otherwise it will still be sent to the school). CLICK HERE for the link to update your shipping address.
  2. Not Yet Ordered the Yearbook : Please order your yearbook now and enter your address at checkout, CLICK HERE for link to order.

Finally, the school building  and yard will be closed to everybody, including staff and families, beginning Friday, April 10. No one will be allowed to enter the building for any reason until the reopening of school. We will keep you posted on the date.
