FSK Yard (42nd Ave gate, near Kirkham St)
The PTA will be hosting a Summer Playdate—open to all FSK families. This will be a great opportunity to welcome our incoming families and reconnect with the FSK Community, while the kids enjoy a morning of play. We hope to see you there.

Please bring water, snacks, a warm layer, and sunscreen for your family.
See you on Saturday!

From Ms McAvoy:
“I always start the year off with a shared art project that students create together. For this years welcome-back art project, I was inspired by some really gorgeous posters on an art teacher Pinterest page. I envision myself teaching the students about patterns, then letting each child design a pattern that represents them. Next, Ill invite them to gather around a huge foam-core board with the words Welcome to Room ---- and criss-crossed with black tape that section off enough spaces for everyone to have their own area to design. Using the tempera paints, students will fill in the blank spaces between and inside the letters, then, using Poscas, theyll layer their personal patterns on to each section. What a great beginning-of-the-year project for Kindergarten through 5th grade!”

Thank you!
