This month is Native American Heritage Month. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the Ramaytush Ohlone people. We are sharing this territory acknowledgement to remind our community of our past and to acknowledge the structural oppression enacted upon marginalized groups in our country, in the hope that we will make an intentional effort to do our part to avoid repeating these harms and patterns. We thank the original people of this land, and their role in shaping these places we love. We honor the connection of this and future generations to this land. 1. Nov 16-20: Parent-Teacher Conference week. Please get in touch with your student’s teacher if you don’t have a meeting time/date yet.
2. Nov 19th: Join our virtual PTA Meeting on Thursday, November 19th at 6:00 pm! We look forward to another great chat with our community. The Meeting Zoom link will be shared by email from Kai, our PTA President. See you then!
3. FSK Passport: Fall Edition is in full swing!
a. November 8 – December 6: Black Bird Bookstore.
Visit the Black Bird website to purchase a special FSK Fundraiser Book Box all month!
b. November 17-21: The Beer Hall. We’re back for more fun with The Beer Hall next week. Add the phrase “FSK” on the form when ordering online from Nov 17-20. Pick up time/location on Nov 21st will be shared next week.
c. All of November & December: Bask SF. Enjoy dinner at Bask SF; please mention FSK when making reservations. You may also order food to-go by email and pick up at the restaurant; mention FSK when ordering by email at email@example.com.
d. December: Escape from New York Pizza. A local favorite, Escape from NY Pizza is an easy choice for family dinners. We will announce the December dates soon, stay tuned.
4. November 23-27: Thanksgiving Break, school holiday all week. Enjoy your time off with your family!
