Hello Families of FSK,
We hope your school year is off to a great start. The garden is being planted and the kids are excited to be hands on experiencing and learning in the wonderful outside space. With the amazing leadership of teacher Jamie with Education Outside, the students of FSK are learning how to grow their own food, take care of of other living things and apply their scientific minds to care for the environment around them.
This educational experience is invaluable and we would appreciate your help in continuing to foster and grow the Garden Program. At the last PTA meeting we discussed that the future of the Education Outside program is in jeopardy.
The Garden Committee will be holding a meeting on OCTOBER 21st, Sunday @ 11 am – Noon to discuss ideas and paths to explore how we may continue to offer this learning experience in the absence of Education Outside and/or if the scope of Education Outside changes.
Please join us at the school in the garden area and we look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions. If you cannot drop by, please feel free to e-mail suggestions as well.
