FSK Reading Spirit Week ~ March 1-5

FSK’s Read Across America Spirit Week takes place March 1-5! We are excited to spend a week reading fun books while celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday & Read Across America.  Please see below for special FSK Bookmarks you may download and print at home for your student(s)!

Here are some fun ways to get into the spirit and enjoy reading:

Monday, March 1, Sleep Book – Wear appropriate pajamas or comfy clothes!  Get ready for a day of reading! Share your favorite bedtime book with a sibling or family member.

Tuesday, March 2,  Green Eggs and Ham – Come to zoom dressed in the color GREEN!  We are sharing a fun read-aloud of this book with all   (CLICK HERE).

Wednesday, March 3,  Wacky Wednesday – Let’s be silly!  Wear your clothes backwards, inside out, or mismatched.  Read your favorite silly book with a class buddy.

Thursday, March 4,  The Cat and the Hat and  Fox in Socks –  Wear your favorite hat and mismatched sock.  Write a rhyme.

Friday, March 5, My Many Colored Days – Show your true colors and wear your assigned grade level color, listed below.  Share your favorite non-fiction book.   Biography?    Science?    Or, write a mini book of info!   We would love to see students/educators in each grade level dress up in these colors:   K – Red;    1st – Green;    2nd –Yellow;    3rd Blue;   4th – Orange ;   5th –School t-shirt or make your own logowear!
