Happy Week 23! This month we celebrate Black History Month to uplift and celebrate the history and importance of Black experiences, voices and stories in our country. While we celebrate in February, we are committed to continuing our racial and social just work throughout the entire year. You can view our virtual IDEAS Gallery which highlights important figures of both past and present. You can also find some events and activities at our local public libraries. Please make note of the following updates & reminders:
- COVID Testing available for students: Please visit the website for more information regarding testing options for students. Also view this fireside chat video with Dr. Vincent Matthews (SFUSD) and Dr. Susan Philip (SFDPH) where Dr. Matthews and Dr. Philip discuss the new context of the pandemic and how public health guidance is changing.
- Color Lab accounts: In an effort to be proactive and use our take-home PCR testing kits, we encourage you to please set up a Color Lab account for your child. You can see the website here for instructions. Please let Ms. Page (pagem@sfusd.edu) know if you have any questions.
- Masks for students & staff: We want to thank our community for offering donations when we were in need for masks. This week, we received large quantities of surgical masks for students and N95 masks for staff.
- Spring Picture Day is coming up! Picture Day is Tuesday February 15th. See the flyer here for more information.
