Yay ~ we all made it through this first week of school together! A very BIG THANK YOU to our incredible Principals, Educators and Staff for a great first week back on-site at FSK!
I appreciate seeing all our wonderful students coming to school ready to learn and meeting/seeing friends while being safe. I also greatly appreciate all our families working together to support our school safety protocols to keep our students & staff healthy and safe as they adjust to being back on-site.
— Please keep up your Daily Health Screening at home with your student BEFORE arriving at FSK. Please keep your student at home if they’re sick or recovering (CLICK HERE).
— If you need to call in your student’s illness and absence, please call Ms. Betty in the School Office at 415-759-2811 and leave a message if it’s after school hours or the line is busy. Thanks.

1. Outdoor Lunch Tables: you asked for Outdoor Lunch, you got it! Within a few days, our PTA Board and Principals responded to our community’s request and FSK NOW HAS OUTDOOR LUNCH TABLES AND A NEW LUNCH PLAN! This super quick response is yet another way our FSK community is awesome and works together to make FSK the best possible school for our students!!! Stay tuned for info about the outdoor lunch plan from our Principals. Now, we’d like YOUR help ~ we’d love to see everyone in our school community coming together to pitch in however they’re able to support our new Outdoor Lunch plan.

a. Volunteer to help set-up tables in the school yard on Monday mornings and take down/store tables on Friday afternoons. Please email our Volunteer Coordinators if you can spare an hour on Monday am or Friday pm: email@example.com

2. August 26th, 6:30pm – PTA General Meeting/ Principals’ Family Meeting; Mandatory; Zoom. Don’t miss our first PTA Meeting and it’s also a MANDATORY Family meeting to get important updates from our Principals. Keep a look out for the Zoom Link, Agenda and more info from our PTA President and other Board Members.
3. Stop, Drop, & Go and General Dropoff/Pickup Safety:
Please work to keep our students safe during morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups! Check out the updated photos in our Newsletter for clear info on where you may go if you’re dropping off your student by vehicle, on foot, and by bike/scooter. Thank you!
*** We still need SDG Chairs/Coordinators! These 2 Chairs/Co-Coordinators will work with our Principals and PTA Board to organize and set-up the Stop Drop & Go morning safety zone for families to drop off their students by vehicles; coordinate having 3-4 volunteers at every school day morning shift; and, share updates and communication with all volunteers and our community. 4. Friday FSK School Spirit Days! Students and staff ~ show us your Pegasus Pride on August 27th by wearing your logowear or blue & yellow clothing/accessories to school. Following School Spirit days will have fun, different themes…stay tuned!
Quick Note: You’ll start seeing our Principals’ Update emails on Fridays/Saturdays. Starting August 31st, the PTA Board will be switching to Tuesdays for sharing our PTA Newsletters with you all. 🙂
