Updates & Reminders:
1. COVID-19 vaccination for kids 5-11: As you may have heard, vaccinations are now available for kids 5-11 years old. We encourage you to check with your child’s pediatrician for specific information. For vaccination sites in SFUSD – please see this link.
2. NO SCHOOL – THURSDAY NOV. 11th – In celebration of Veterans Day, school will be closed Thursday 11/11. Thank you to all our Veterans for your service. We DO have school Friday 11/12.
3. Parent-Teacher Conference week is soon! Please make note that Parent-Teacher conference week is November 15 – November 19. Students will be dismissed at 12:50pm every day. If your child is in after-school, they will attend field trips.
4. We’re starting Round 2 of science sack distribution: We hope you enjoyed your Science Sack! Our awesome volunteers have worked hard to prepare and distribute new Sacks for round 2! Please see this info sheet for details.
Please see the dates below for Round 2 distribution of science sacks:
- 2-A / 3-A : Take home on Thursday Nov 4 // Return to school on Mon Nov 8
- K-B / 1-B : Take home on Thursday Dec 2 // Return to school on Mon Dec 6
- 2-B / 3-B : Take home on Thursday Dec 9 // Return to school on Mon Dec 13

Upcoming dates to remember:
- November 11th: No School – Veterans Day
- November 12th: School Spirit Day – Wear Pink and/or White!
- November 15th – November 19th: Parent Teacher conference week (*School gets out at 12:50pm everyday)
- November 22nd – November 26th: Thanksgiving Break, no school
- December 20th – December 31st: Winter Break (*School resumes Monday, January 3rd)
