Principals’ Message ~ April 25th

Welcome to Week 33!  We are so thrilled to have had our 3-5th grade students join us this week. We want to thank you all for making the transition so smooth and successful! We also thank our fantastic parent volunteers for helping with traffic safety and always supporting our community. It has been so inspiring to see our in-person students and Distance Learners working collaboratively on Zoom and we continue to be impressed by our teachers and educators for navigating this difficult year with such grace!

Thank you, FSK educators. You are one of a kind!

Please view your Morning Message video from Ms. Kasner & Ms. Page and see the updates below:

In-person learning: We have made a few adjustments to morning intake and afternoon pick-up:

Car intake and pick up Lane: We have set up a lane on 42nd Avenue for car intake and dismissal pick up that can be used for all 1st – 5th grade students. If you are unable to find parking or choose not to park, you may use this lane to drive through to drop off or pick up your child at the main gate. Please line up on Kirkham Street and 42nd Avenue. If the line becomes too long, please drive around the block until the lane clears up a bit or please consider parking/walking over for Intake.

Remember our teachers are still teaching on Zoom in the morning and we will open our gates at 9:20am. Please know we are working hard to make adjustments to our intake and dismissal procedures to make the process more smooth. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

SFUSD Family Culture & Climate Survey : Please Help Us – Due May 4, 2021

It’s time for our annual survey to see how our families feel about our school and your child’s learning and how we can improve! Your feedback is extremely important to us.
